Our events last week

We catered for a variety of events last week starting with the Colchester Royal Grammar School leaver’s dinner, where we served a three course dinner to 160 hungry students.

On Friday we were at the stunning Belchamp Hall, our bride and grooms ceremony was the day before so we were catering at a post wedding party. The marquee had a North African theme as the groom is from Egypt, the rugs and sofas looked amazing and created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and informal wedding celebration.

Wedding at Belchamp Hall

On Saturday we were catering for three events, two weddings and a birthday celebration. The weekend weather was amazing which made the drinks reception, canapés and photos a highlight in the beautiful gardens at Layer Marney Tower and our marquee wedding in Suffolk.

 For our clients birthday celebration our team had set up tables the previous day in their home and delivered rare topside of beef and a succulent Suffolk ham from our delivery menus to feed guests that evening. On the day we served a three course dinner, chosen from our brochure.

Treacle Tart

On Sunday we were providing food and service for a christening in Essex. We had catered for our clients at their wedding a number of years ago and were delighted to be providing food for their daughters christening.

As guests arrived we served tea, coffee and a selection of savoury and sweet items from our afternoon tea menus. The chefs had put together a special menu to keep the children (and some adults) happy.
